CA Water Politics: Depending on the Delta
Later today in Sacramento, the U.S. deputy secretary of the Interior and the head of the state's Department of Water Resources will hold a public meeting to talk about water in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. It's an embattled ecosystem -- both environmentally and politically -- given that farmers, fishermen, wildlife and anyone in Southern California who turns a tap all depend on the Delta.
