Profiling the Pomegranate
Pomegranate season has begun. It's a favorite fruit for holiday tables, as beautiful as it is delicious. They've been grown in California since the days of the Spanish missions and are eaten in many different food traditions. We visit the biggest collection of pomegranates in North America and talk to several California chefs.

Feeding the Hungry
As part of our occasional series on volunteers around California, we meet a retired optometrist who serves the homeless at Street Meal at the First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley.
