Prop. 8 Trial Gets Under Way
Today in San Francisco, a federal judge begins hearing arguments on whether California's ban on same-sex marriage, passed by voters as Proposition 8, violates the U.S. Constitution. The case could ultimately decide the fate of gay marriage throughout the country.
NUMMI Workers Look for Public Support
The Silicon Valley International Auto Show wrapped up this weekend. As car shoppers examined new models inside, petitions were circulated outside by members of the union that represents 4,700 auto workers at NUMMI. The union is asking Toyota to reconsider its decision to close the plant.
