In the 1940s and '50s, Palm Springs was a playground for some of Hollywood's biggest celebrities. Besides the great weather and gorgeous mountains, there are also spectacular examples of mid-century modern architecture. This weekend, fans of modern design will flock to Palm Springs for the fifth annual Modernism Week. Reporter Lisa Morehouse paid a visit, and learned about her own grandparents' role in the creation of Palm Springs' unique style.
