Baja Quake Shakes Southern California
A 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit southeast of Tijuana Sunday, rattling the windows all the way north to Las Vegas. At least two people are reported dead south of the border. North of the border, the quake was more of a scare. But there were gas leaks, water main breaks and power outages.

Keeping Swine Flu at Bay
The number of swine flu cases is on the rise again in the southeastern U.S. Here in California, H1N1 infection rates are at low levels, but public health officials are still pushing vaccinations to keep it that way. In Bakersfield, they're not just administering the shots in clinics, but taking them to local swap meets.
