Ever since groups like the Go-Go's and The Bangles launched girl bands to the top of the charts in the 1980s, all-female rock groups have become common. Now a non-profit organization in Oakland is offering a Girls Rock Camp for summer and after-school jam sessions. We went to a rehearsal, and learned it's about much more than just the music.
