A recent study of over 1,000 Bay Area CT scan patients indicates their radiation doses from the procedure could be higher than previously believed. Researchers say that nationally, this could lead to more than 14,000 additional cancer deaths per year. We talk to Dr. Rebecca Smith-Bindman, the lead author of the study, about the findings.
