Ruth Reichl, editor-in-chief of Gourmet Magazine and former New York Times restaurant critic, joins us to discuss her new cookbook, “Gourmet Today: More than 1,000 All-New Recipes for the Contemporary Kitchen.” Reichl has been honored with four James Beard Awards. Her other books include “Not Becoming My Mother: And Other Things She Taught Me Along the Way.”
