On Wednesday, the Song of America Project comes to San Francisco’s Herbst Theater. In collaboration with the Library of Congress — home to more than 20 million musical scores — renowned baritone Thomas Hampson has created a program to capture and chronicle the American spirit through music. Hampson joins us in conversation and song, along with a senior musicologist at the Library of Congress.
