In addition to reviving pop vocal standards with unique contemporary flair, singer and pianist Michael Feinstein has turned an archivist’s eye to the Great American Songbook. As a de facto musical archaeologist, Feinstein has brushed the dust off forgotten works by songwriting greats like the Gershwins, Cole Porter and Irving Berlin. Feinstein joins us in the studio to discuss his 25 years in the music business. Feinstein’s most recent album, “The Sinatra Project” was released last September.
