Tel Aviv, which marks its 100th anniversary this year, is a model for what the rest of Israel should be. That’s according to Tel Aviv City Council Chairwoman Yael Dayan. Daughter of the late war hero Moshe Dayan and longtime women’s rights activist, she joins us in studio to discuss the city’s centennial as well as the ongoing turmoil in the region. Dayan appears at San Francisco State University, Humanities Building 286 April 22 at 2pm, and at UC Berkeley, Barrows Hall 110 April 22 at 8pm.
