Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Jane Smiley has set her novels in such diverse milieus as a university campus, the real estate industry and the world of horse racing. Smiley joins Forum for a conversation about her writing and her latest book “Ten Days in the Hills,” which takes on Hollywood. Her other books include “A Thousand Acres” and “Moo.” Smiley is also the recipient of the PEN USA Lifetime Achievement Award for Literature in 2006.
