East Bay park managers recently recommended closing Chabot Gun Club due to lead contamination from bullet shells that are poisoning the soil and water in Chabot Regional Park. The shooting club says it will clean up the pollution and save taxpayers millions if it can stay. A decision is expected at an East Bay Regional Park District board meeting on Tuesday.

Guests:

Jim O'Connor, assistant general manager of operations, East Bay Regional Park District

Sean Brady, attorney representing Chabot Gun Club, Michel & Associates
