Deadline Approaches for San Francisco Homeless to Leave Division Street Encampment

On Tuesday, San Francisco’s Department of Public Health declared a large homeless encampment along Division Street a health hazard and gave its residents 72 hours to relocate. As city officials prepare to dismantle the encampment, San Franciscans remain fiercely divided over the issue.
