But this is a stanza, not a business mantra, and it comes from the pen of California's new Poet Laureate: Gioia. A longtime poetry advocate and former chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, Gioia joins us to discuss his ideas for promoting poetry teaching in schools as well as how he plans to broaden the audience for poetry.
