Anthony Rapp achieved Broadway stardom in 1996 with the hit musical “Rent,” which followed bohemian New York artists struggling to find success and love. These days, Rapp stars in the touring production of “If/Then,” currently playing at the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco. He joins us to talk about his career on stage and screen, losing his mother to cancer during the height of his success and the legacy of “Rent,” nearly 20 years later.
