Valley Fire Continues to Rage in Napa, Sonoma Counties

The Valley Fire, which is raging across Lake County and has spread to Napa and Sonoma counties, has burned over 60,000 acres and is just 5 percent contained. The fire, fed by drought conditions and extremely high temperatures across the state, has destroyed more than 1,000 homes and businesses. One death is reported in what officials are calling one of the most destructive fires in California in 30 years. We'll get the latest on the fire, its impacts, and efforts to contain it.
