On Friday, the terrorist group known as ISIS said that a female American hostage in Syria was killed during a Jordanian airstrike. The bombings came in response to ISIS’ release of a video showing a Jordanian pilot being burned alive. The White House said Thursday that President Obama will ask Congress to formally authorize military force against ISIS.
