Seven candidates for Oakland mayor participated in a forum on Thursday, Sept. 4. They outlined their positions on a wide range of topics including public safety, police militarization, education and economic development. The event was hosted by the John George Democratic Club, Oakland East Bay Democratic Club, Black Women Organized for Political Action, Niagara Democratic Club.
