Author and animal rights advocate Jeffrey Masson has long written about the emotional life of animals. In his new book, "Beasts: What Animals Can Teach Us About the Origins of Good and Evil," Masson examines human behavior in comparison with other animals, and considers why humans are the most violent predators on earth.
