Even while other industries struggled in 2011, technology was king. Apple launched success after success, Android became the dominant Smartphone platform and talking about the “cloud” became commonplace. But there were tech losers as well – like BlackBerry maker Research in Motion. As 2011 comes to a close, we look back at a remarkable year in tech – and look forward to what to expect in 2012.
