As the 34th governor of California in 1975, Jerry Brown was known for his frugality, as symbolized by his old Plymouth Satellite. On Monday, Brown was inaugurated as the state's 39th governor, and he revived those themes of austerity and sacrifice in a simple ceremony, followed by hot dogs and chips for the crowd.
