In her powerful new memoir, “Someone Has Led This Child to Believe,” Regina Louise chronicles her experiences growing up in the foster care system. After being abandoned by her family at a young age, Louise spent time in over 30 foster homes, group homes and psychiatric facilities, weathering neglect and abuse. Eventually, she realized her dream of pursuing higher education and now advocates for foster youth. We’ll talk with Louise about her book and experience as one of ‘society’s abandoned children.’
