For years, diets have presented carbohydrates as the ultimate enemy. Followers of the Atkins diet and more recently a ketogenic diet often significantly reduce their carbohydrate consumption while eating more animal-based proteins. But a new study associated these low carb/high animal protein diets with a shorter life span. We’ll dig into the details of the study and take your questions.
