BART will open a new service to Antioch this week and an extension to bring BART trains to downtown San Jose recently won a $730 million. The transportation agency has also announced a new program in response to concerns about unsanitary conditions at elevators at Powell Street and Civic Center stations. Forum will talk with BART leadership about those new developments and ongoing criticism surrounding safety and cleanliness.
