State Exchange Urges Californians to Sign up for Health Insurance Ahead of Wednesday Deadline

California residents have until midnight Wednesday to sign up for health insurance through Covered California, the agency that administers the Affordable Care Act in the state. According to Covered California’s executive director, Peter Lee, three-quarters of those eligible for coverage aren’t aware they qualify for a plan. Lee joins us to explain how to enroll, and how the repeal of the ACA’s individual mandate will affect the state.
