A man killed eight people and wounded at least a dozen others when he drove his truck off the road in New York City on Tuesday afternoon. Police shot the man, who remains in custody. NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio called it a “cowardly act of terror”. Officials also called it a terrorist attack, though New York Governor Andrew Cuomo also said it was the act of a “lone wolf” and “no evidence… suggests a wider plot or a wider scheme.” We discuss the attack.
