In her new memoir, “Hourglass,” Dani Shapiro examines the cracks that slowly formed over her 18-year marriage to her husband as they navigated things like financial uncertainty and their young son’s life-threatening illness. Shapiro joins us to talk about the challenges of long-term love and how she stayed honest while writing about her closest relationships.
