Three law enforcement officers were shot dead in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Sunday, with three more injured. The gunman, identified as Gavin Long, was subsequently shot dead by police. The murders come just weeks after an African-American man, Alton Sterling, was killed by Baton Rouge police and after the July 7 killings of 5 police officers in Dallas. We’ll open the phone lines to get listeners’ reactions to the latest deadly shooting, the violence of the past several weeks and rising racial tension across the country.
