 (Jerry Bauer)

Famed biologist E.O. Wilson has a bold proposal for saving our world and our species: Set aside half the planet for nature. Permanently. Extinctions, he points out, are nearing a rate of one thousand times what they were before humans appeared. In his new book, “Half Earth: Our Planet’s Fight for Life,” Wilson offers a roadmap to saving our planet from extinction amidst what he calls a mounting biodiversity crisis.

Guests:

E. O. Wilson, Biologist & professor emeritus in the Department of Entomology, Harvard University; author of "Half Earth: Our Planet's Fight for Life"; two-time recipient of the Pulitzer Prize for General Non-fiction
