Director Peter Bratt and actor Benjamin Bratt join Michael Krasny in studio to discuss their new film, “La Mission,” which celebrates the diversity and culture of San Francisco’s Mission District while dealing with issues of homophobia, racism and gentrification. Benjamin Bratt stars in “La Mission,” and is also known for playing Detective Rey Curtis on the television show “Law & Order.” His film work includes roles in “Blood in Blood Out,” “Miss Congeniality,” “Traffic” and “Pinero.” Director, screenwriter and producer Peter Bratt also wrote and directed the 1996 film “Follow Me Home,” starring Benjamin Bratt, Alfre Woodard and Salma Hayek.
