Americans have a harder time balancing the demands of work and family than workers in other industrialized countries, according to a report released Monday by UC Hastings and the Center for American Progress. Meanwhile, the authors argue, there are fewer laws to support and protect working families.

Guests:

Heather Boushey, co-author of the study "The Three Faces of Work-Family Conflict" and senior economist at the Center for American Progress

Joan Williams, co-author of the study and distinguished professor of law and founding director of the Center for WorkLife Law at UC Hastings College of the Law
