Pop is a smartphone app for making interactive media mashups and remixes out of GIFs, still images and short video clips. Pop has a smart, intuitive approach that packs a lot of functionality into a deceptively simple package. As of now, Pop is only available on iOS, but an Android version is on its way. Pop is deeply social and allows users to create visual conversations riffing off of and remixing content from Pop to Pop. Pop comes from the same team behind the web-based media making platform Zeega (also covered in another Educast entry here). To get started making your own Pops, go to the iTunes App store and download it for free by searching ‘GoPop’ and then follow along with the video below.
