Joey Kahn is a journalist covering everything from Chechnya to schools to the closing of adult movie theaters. He's worked for WTOP Radio in Washington DC, WYPR Radio in Baltimore, The Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, and America Abroad Media.
His most difficult job though was when he taught 7th grade mathematics in inner-city Baltimore.
Joey has returned to his San Francisco roots and is now a contributor for KQED's "The Lowdown." Joey has a Masters in Urban Education, and he's scuba certified.
