In honor of Noise Pop’s 20th Anniversary, we asked The Dodos’ singer/guitarist Meric Long to recount his three previous appearances at the annual Bay Area music festival. Long has played Noise Pop as a solo performer, part of a trio and in front of a 30-piece orchestra. The Dodos perform at this year’s Noise Pop Sunday February 26, 2012, 7pm at The Great American Music Hall, headlining a bill that includes Au, Cannons and Clouds and Here Here.

The 20th Annual Noise Pop Music Festival runs February 21-26, 2012 at venues throughout San Francisco. For tickets and information visit noisepop.com.
