This week, we’re doing things a little differently. Instead of one notable Video of the Week, we’ll be sharing one per day. Each clip will be a music video featuring an over-the-top, campy female singer.

Now, I know what you’re thinking. Yes, at first glance, Lady Gaga seems like yet another vacuous fembot because we’re used to people like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton who are more famous for sex tapes and publicity stunts than actual creativity or talent. But, trust me on this one: Lady Gaga is different (she’s actually smart and can sing). Her whole musical persona is an act of performance art (from her bizzare fashion choices to bringing her own tea cup everywhere) and a critique of pop culture and fame whoredom. She’s becoming the very thing she derides. If you still don’t believe me, watch her music video for “Paparazzi.” There’s wheelchair choreography!

Note: This is the edited version. If you don’t mind a few ruffled feathers, here’s the original cut.

If you have any crazy sexy cool videos of your own, share them with us and we’ll consider them for future installments of Video of the Week!
