Every Monday, the KQED Arts blog features a new Video of the Week to start the work week off right.

You may have seen this one before because it’s pretty old, but it’s worth seeing again. Australian pop singer Sia Furler, best known for her work with Zero 7, parades her inner freak in this music video for her song, Buttons. Her head morphs from one display of self mutilation to another: clothespins on her lips, tape across her face, and pantyhose on her head. In a world populated by overly groomed performers, it’s refreshing to see someone who is unafraid to be a little ugly and more than a little weird.

If you have any crazy sexy cool videos of your own, share them with us and we’ll consider them for future installments of Video of the Week!
