Drive-in theaters in San Jose and Concord reopened to the general public on Tuesday.
The theaters, among the last remaining drive-ins in the Bay Area, will enforce strict rules about leaving one’s car, wearing masks, and parking 10 feet apart.
The scheduled movies, all double features, reflect a mix of titles released prior to the shelter-in-place order as well as new fare like Trolls World Tour, which was released for home digital rental in April.
The company that owns the theaters, West Wind, also owns and operates a drive-in theater in Sacramento, as well as the swap meet adjacent to the Oakland Coliseum.
