The music of ABBA fills Mt. Tam this summer at the Mountain Play's production of 'Mamma Mia!'

So you blew it on the Mother’s Day gift this year. Just straight-up forgot. I know, I know — I’ve been there too, and frankly, I don’t envy you. But here’s the easy fix: take her to Mamma Mia! at the top of Mt. Tamalpais.

The Mountain Play, who for over 100 years have presented summer theater in the amphitheater on Mt. Tam, brings this ABBA-inspired musical to new heights in their 2018 season. And what better timing? ABBA just announced some new songs due to be released this year, as well as a possible, uh… hologram tour?

Mamma Mia! opens May 20 and runs every Sunday afternoon through June 17, with a special sing-along on Saturday, June 9.  Details here
