Oakland rapper G-Eazy was arrested in Stockholm early Thursday morning after an altercation with an employee of a nightclub, according to reports.

In video obtained by TMZ.com, the 28-year-old rapper known for hit songs like "Him & I" and "Me, Myself & I" can be seen being escorted by law enforcement out of a nightclub into a police vehicle. Local law enforcement confirmed to The Blast that an American citizen was arrested around 3am on an assault charge, and that it involved an employee of the club.

TMZ also reported that cocaine was found in G-Eazy's possession. Police later confirmed that 1.5 ounces of cocaine was found on G-Eazy's when he was arrested.

G-Eazy, whose real name is Gerald Earl Gillum, has been a rising star in the music world since the release of his major label debut, These Things Happen, in 2014. The album reached number 3 on the Billboard 200, and Gillum went on to collaborate with high profile artists like Cardi B, fellow Oakland artist Kehlani, and pop singer Halsey, who he is also dating. The couple recently performed on Saturday Night Live together.

The incident occurred at an afterparty following G-Eazy concert in Stockholm Wednesday evening. Before being arrested, G-Eazy and Halsey were seen distributing shots of alcohol to partygoers.
