Kerri Gawryn

Kerri Gawryn is a Bay Area documentary film director and producer.

Her film Exposing Homelessness chronicled the experiences of three formerly homeless women as they learned to express themselves and educate others through the art of photography. Exposing Homelessness won the Best Local Voice award from the San Francisco Women's Film Festival and the Society for Visual Anthropology's Jean Rouch award. The film played at festivals and conferences nationally including Big Muddy Film Festival in Illinois, FLEEF Film Festival in New York, Women and Creativity Film Festival in New Mexico and at the annual Society for Photographic Education Arts & Advocacy Conference in Colorado.
