Finding Safer Alternatives to Harmful Toxins

Manufacturers who want to sell their products in California now have to start finding safer alternatives to the hazardous chemicals used in baby bottles, laundry detergents, and other everyday products. New rules took effect on October 1 that regulate chemicals under the state’s Green Chemistry Initiative, a 2008 law.
