I did not watch the Emmy's last night. I don't have an actual TV because I am a Millennial who watches everything on her laptop computer in order to destroy the very fabric of society, and I reserve live TV watching at friends' houses for real important events like Breaking Bad. But, as a lover of TV programs and a person who has been consistently angered by awards shows since I was probably 8, I watched social media with interest during last night's show, as I prepped myself for the real show (Breaking Bad! Breaking Bad!). Without watching the show, I "watched the show." I even tweeted about it:

Luckily for you--luckily for all of us--there are people with the job "watch the Emmys and tell people about it" so we don't have to sit through hours of nonsense and we can experience just the super good bits.
