Google and its subsidiary YouTube must pay a $170 million settlement after they allegedly mined data from children without their parents’ consent.

While that may sound like a lot of millions to you or me, remember that Google is currently valued at over $800 billion.

I’m thinking they may be able to find that $170 million pretty easily if they just lift a few cushions on the couches around corporate headquarters.
