In a pair of early morning tweets, President Trump accused "Google & others" of suppressing conservative viewpoints.

Trump's chief economic adviser, Larry Kudlow, later suggested that government regulation of Google may be an option.

Google quickly responded to the president's attack, claiming "we never rank search results to manipulate political sentiment."
