San Diego Judge Rules Separated Families Must Be Reunited

A federal judge in San Diego ordered the government to reunite the roughly 2,000 children separated from their parents at the border. U.S. District Judge Dana Sabraw issued the temporary injunction to end family separation, saying the “situation had reached a crisis level.”

Jeff Sessions Met By Protests During L.A. Visit.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions visited a conservative group in Los Angeles, and he called critics of the administration’s family separation policy the “lunatic fringe.” While Sessions may have been greeted warmly inside the Biltmore Hotel where he spoke, that wasn’t the case outside. At least 25 protesters were arrested as demonstrators took to the streets.

Supreme Court Sides with California Anti-Abortion Pregnancy Centers

The U.S. Supreme Court has reversed a lower court decision upholding a California law requiring anti-abortion crisis pregnancy centers to more fully disclose what they are. The case pitted the right to know against the right to free speech.
