During a roundtable discussion filled with like-minded officials from California who oppose the state's sanctuary law, President Trump called some unauthorized immigrants "animals."

Trump thanked the people in attendance who he said "bravely resisted California's deadly and unconstitutional sanctuary state laws."

Gov. Jerry Brown was quick to tweet his response.
