Attorney General Jeff Sessions was in San Diego on Monday to announce a “zero tolerance” policy when it comes to illegal border crossings. He says the Department of Homeland Security will now refer 100 percent of those cases to the Department of Justice for prosecution.

The prime season for seeing gray whales migrate along the coast of California is winding down, and blue whale season is around the corner. And if you've ever seen these tremendous 40-ton beasts breach, you may have wondered: How did these animals get so big? The commonly held belief is that animals like whales were released from the burdens of living on land -- burdens such as gravity and a limited food supply -- so once they got into the sea, they were able to get as big as they wanted. We speak to one scientist who has a new theory.
