Demonstrators Protest Sacramento Police Fatal Shooting of Unarmed Black Man

Hundreds of demonstrators formed a human chain blocking fans from entering a pro basketball game last night. It was just one part of an evening of demonstrations that took place in Sacramento in response to the police shooting death of 22-year-old Stephon Clark.

Evacuation Orders, Flood Advisories Lifted After Southern California Storm Subsides

A powerful three day storm that flooded streets and triggered several water rescues in Southern California is on its way out. Flood advisories throughout the area expired throughout the night as did evacuation orders for about 30-thousand people in Santa Barbara County. Among those living in the evacuation zones are horses, including two who belong to reporter Stephanie O’Neill. During the Thomas fire, Stephanie had to evacuate Cooper, her 15-year-old quarter horse gelding and Lilly, her 11-year-old quarter horse mare, several different times. This week, she was at it again.

Those cities don't want shelters.
