Facebook is in hot water again, with Rep. Adam Schiff telling KQED, “I think Facebook should come back and testify.”
The ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee was responding to reports that Cambridge Analytica, the data analytics firm that worked closely with the Trump campaign, harvested personal information from over 50 million Facebook users.
Even when “the Facebook” first began at Harvard and then-student Mark Zuckerberg was happy with a total of 650 users, he had to immediately address privacy concerns, telling the Harvard Crimson, “people have very good control over who can see their information.”
